By default, if the companion app is used to place a voice call to the GrandPad user, the call will go to the GrandPad user's regular phone number — not the GrandPad. Video calls, however, always go directly to the GrandPad.
If you would like voice calls to go directly to the GrandPad, you must setup a phone number for the GrandPad. Please visit GrandPad Central or contact customer support to do so.
Once you setup the GrandPad phone number, family members will be able to voice call the GrandPad directly and also send SMS messages to the GrandPad. To read SMS messages on the GrandPad, simply click on the "Email" button.
